Prudence Leith-Ross

PRUDENCE LEITH-ROSS is an historian, author and gardener. She was the daughter of Frederick Leith-Ross, the influential economic adviser to the government between 1932 and 1945. Her research into the John Tradescants, the Elizabethan era gardeners and naturalists, led her to write a highly regarded biography, The John Tradescants: Gardeners to the Rose and Lily Queen.
