Part of the Peter Owen World Series: Slovenia
None Like Her is a literary romantic comedy in the style of David Nicholls, Nick Hornby and Karen Joy Fowler. Dumped and broken-hearted, one man embarks on an odyssey of dates to learn more about himself, his city and women. In this début novel, swirling with ideas and fresh, contemporary voices, Jela Krečič has created a well-observed crypto-misogynist of the new millennium whose behaviour she offers up for our scrutiny.
Translated from the Slovene by Olivia Hellewell
