Non-fiction
We accept unsolicited submissions, preferably in the form of an emailed covering letter with attached synopsis and sample chapters.
Please note that we take on very few memoirs these days, no poetry or plays and no books on sport, spirituality or self-help subjects.
Fiction
We specialize in international literary fiction, not genre or popular fiction; we do not publish children’s books. At present we are taking on no first novels or short stories.
We prefer submissions to come via literary agents or translators, as appropriate, via email, in the form of a covering letter with attached synopsis and sample chapters.

We try to deal with proposals reasonably promptly, but, owing to the small size of the company and the large number of submissions we receive, authors may have to be patient in waiting for a response.
